C-Arm medical equipment donation to Warangal's MGM Hospital

In response to the pressing needs of MGM Hospital, the teaching hospital of Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, OGKTMA donated a C-Arm medical imaging system. This crucial equipment aids in surgical imaging and was sorely lacking, forcing underprivileged patients to seek expensive treatment in private hospitals.
The inauguration ceremony of the C-Arm donation was attended by several key medical leaders, including:
- Dr. Srinivas Rao, Superintendent of MGM Hospital
- Dr. Praveen Devulapalli, Registrar of Health Sciences
- Dr. Venkateshwarlu, Head of Orthopedics
Representing OGKTMA was Dr. P. Sujeeth Reddy, C-Arm project lead and Immediate Past President. The funds for the equipment were raised during the 33rd Annual OGKTMA Convention held on September 14th–15th, 2018 at the Hilton SFO Bayfront Hotel in San Francisco, CA. The event witnessed a 40% increase in delegate participation and featured prominent speakers like Dr. Srinath Reddy (President, Public Health Foundation of India), Dr. Manohar (Director of NIMS), and Dr. Praveen Kumar (Registrar of Health Sciences).
This donation continues OGKTMA's long-standing mission of supporting healthcare infrastructure in Telangana. In addition to this project, OGKTMA has:
- Built libraries and alumni centers
- Donated defibrillators to 170 ambulances
- Invested over ₹1.1 crore in improving public health infrastructure in 2018 alone
